The Female Factory Historic Site Ltd Board currently consists of eight Directors.

The Board meets on a monthly basis and is responsible for short and long term corporate governance and management, policy development, planning, and interpretation of the site.

The Board Directors are also volunteers and receive no remuneration for their work, they have expertise in such areas as:

	Marketing and Major Event Development
	Market Research
	Women's Issues
	Accountancy
	Gallery and Museum Direction
	Convict Heritage and Historical Research
	Corporate Governance
	Heritage matters such as Conservation and Archaeology

Various sub-committees undertake projects and report to the Female Factory History Site Ltd Board.
